Why does Martialnote not charge per student?

Because the work of the software does not change with the number of students. A school with 30 students and a school with 300 pay the same amount: $24.99 per month (or $249 per year) at the regular rate, $14.99 per month (or $149 per year) at the founder rate, taxes included.

Tools priced per student push the bill up with every enrolment. To place your own case, do the maths with the rate of your current tool: multiply it by your number of students, and compare. That is the only figure that counts, and it comes from you: Martialnote never quotes a competitor's rate.

A flat rate also works the other way: a school that drops back below 25 active students becomes free again, losing nothing. No feature closes, no data is removed.
