Yes, up to 25 active students, with no time limit. Above that, a flat subscription applies: $149 per year or $14.99 per month for the first 25 paying schools, $249 per year or $24.99 per month after that, taxes included.

Yes, and it is the plan shown by default: it gives about two months free ($149 instead of $179.88 at the founder rate). Monthly stays available, at the same rate, and you can switch between the two.

A student who had at least one activity in the last 90 days — present or late at a class, a dues payment, a curriculum item learned or validated — or whose record is less than 90 days old. An excused absence does not count as a visit. The "active" status ticked by hand does not count. The count is automatic and visible in the app.

Two monthly measurements in a row above the threshold trigger a notice, then you have 30 days before the first payment. If the school drops back to 25 active students or fewer during that period, the notice is cancelled. Happy consequence: you still get three free months, give or take ;)

No. It tracks due dates, the payments you confirm and the balances, but transfers and cash stay in your hands. No student card ever goes through Martialnote.

No. Martialnote runs in your phone or computer browser. It can be added to the home screen like an app, and taking attendance works even with no network in the room.

Yes. Progress is tracked item by item — forms, techniques, weapons, concepts — with or without ranks. A school with no belts or sashes follows exactly the same program.

From your spreadsheet (CSV or Excel) or from a photo of your list. The app recognises the columns, shows a preview and waits for your confirmation before creating anything. At most one thousand rows per import.

Yes, at any time: a full export of the school is a feature of the app, not a favour. If the service ever closes, six months' notice is published and the export stays available.

In the United States, with a cloud provider, with encrypted daily backups. Each school is isolated in the database: a badly filtered query cannot show another school's students.

Children's information is handled with the same care as adults', and the school remains responsible for what it collects. The privacy policy describes what is kept, why, and for how long.

Neither. No advertising, no resale, no selling of profiles. Usage measurement is anonymous and never says who did what.

Yes, in both languages, and each person chooses their own in their preferences. A third language will be added when demand justifies it.

Yes: the free plan asks for no credit card. You can create your school, import your students and take your first attendance without paying anything.
