My school is read-only because of payment, what do I do?

The school is read-only because a payment is overdue. Everyone can still view and log in, and the owner can export all data (an instructor can never export); nothing is deleted. Any change is refused, and messages stop going out.

When it starts: 14 days after the first payment date if nothing is paid (44 days after the notice); immediately if Stripe gave up after failed charges; 14 days after the end of the paid period if the owner cancelled while the school still has more than 25 active students. The owner gets an email 3 days before and on the day.

How to get out of it: only the owner can, from Martialnote plan, with Pay (or Manage my subscription if a payment failed). Full access usually returns within a few minutes. The instructor sees a banner saying the owner can restore access; they cannot do anything themselves.

If payment is made and the school stays blocked for more than a day, write to bonjour@martialnote.com with the school's name. The school also returns to full access if a monthly measure shows 25 active students or fewer.
