Signing in

Who: owner and instructor. There is no password.

Steps

1. Open the app and enter your address in Your email.
2. Tap Send me a sign-in link.
3. Open the email you receive and tap the link. The app opens, signed in.

Rules

• The link works only once and expires 15 minutes after it is sent.
• You can request at most 5 links per hour for the same account. Beyond that, no email is sent for the rest of the hour.
• For an address without an account, the screen still says a sign-in link is on its way, but nothing is sent. This is on purpose: we never reveal which addresses have an account.
• A sign-in stays active for 90 days on the device; after that, request a new link.
• Sign out is in Settings > Account.

No account yet

The sign-in screen offers Create an account: the person creates their account and becomes the owner of the school they then create (see the Setup article). An instructor doesn't create an account: the owner invites them. After signing in, an account whose school isn't open yet lands on setup, at the step reached.

If the link does not arrive

1. Wait a minute and check the junk / spam folder.
2. Check that the address entered is the one the school registered.
3. Request a new link (staying under 5 per hour).
4. If nothing arrives, the address probably has no account: ask the school owner to check the registered address.

If the link does not work

The message "This link is no longer valid" means it expired (more than 15 minutes) or was already used. Tap Start over and request a new link.
