Is handwriting recognized well on a photo?

Handwriting recognition varies: it depends on how sharp the photo is, the light and whether the page is flat. A printed list gives better results.

To improve the reading: photograph the page flat, without shadow or glare, filling the image, and avoid names cut off at the edge. If the result is poor, take the photo again and tap Try again. A row marked Uncertain name: check it must be fixed by hand before importing.

The app reads only one page at a time and does not accept PDFs. For a long document, take one photo per page and use Add another page.
