How do I note what I showed after class?

Open the class's attendance sheet, then tap Note on the student's card (Progression view) or the small pencil on their tile (Attendance view, which does not change attendance). Both the owner and the instructor can do this.

1. In the attendance sheet, choose the Progression view (it needs a connection), or stay in Attendance and tap the pencil.
2. In Note — {name}, the "Up next" item is already ticked under Shown today if the student follows this curriculum. If not, "Up next" is offered unticked (Just a note); ticking an item shows "Not following this curriculum: will be added to it". For another item, tick it or tap Other item…. If the class has several curriculums, Other curriculum… (or the curriculum buttons) lets you switch.
3. Keep Learned (default) or choose Validated or Just a note; write a Note (optional) of at most 2,000 characters.
4. Tap Save.

To mark "Up next" as Learned: Note then Save (2 taps). Today's date and the author are added automatically; the date cannot be in the future. Note never sets a Validated item back to Learned: use the {name}’s progression screen for that.
