Can I import a photo or a handwritten page?

Yes, if the owner has enabled photo reading for the school. Open Students > Import an existing list, then, in step 1, in the Images of your lists zone, tap Enable for my school if the button appears. Then tap Take a photo or Choose an image.

One page at a time, flat, sharp and well lit. The app reads the names and shows them in step 2: fix the names, tick Minor for children, then check the preview and import. Add another page adds to the list.

At most 1,000 names per import, one page per photo, no PDF. Handwriting is recognized with varying accuracy: a row marked Uncertain name: check it must be reread. Read names are adults by default. Only the owner can use this feature.
