How do I cancel a class on a public holiday?

The owner cancels that day's session; the class itself stays in place for the other weeks.

1. Open Schedule and go to the holiday.
2. Tap the session, then Cancel session.
3. Optionally write the Reason (optional), at most 120 characters (for example "Public holiday"). It is shown on the schedule.
4. Tap Cancel session to confirm (Keep the session to give up).

The session appears struck through with the reason and "Cancelled"; attendance cannot be taken on it. To undo, open the session and tap Restore. A session of a recurring class cannot be deleted: it is cancelled. After cancelling, the app offers to Notify students by email (see the Messages article). The owner can do this; so can instructors, if the setting "Instructors can cancel a session and write to students" is on.
