How do I set up a 3-month subscription that is paid in advance?

Create a monthly type with a Payment period of 3 months, then confirm a payment of the period price. Only the owner can do this.

1. Settings > School > Subscription types: create (or edit) a Monthly type, set the Price per period (optional) (the price of the 3 months) and the Payment period to 3 months.
2. On the student's profile, Add a subscription of that type, with the Start.
3. The first due date falls on the start date (or, if that date is past, at the start of the current 3-month period; past periods are not billed), then every 3 months on the same day of the month.
4. On the Fees screen, Confirm a payment for the amount received, then Validate payment.

The price is that of one 3-month period. A period that has started is due in full (no proration).
