“Daily photo reading limit reached during your school’s starting period. This lower limit protects Martialnote from abuse and helps keep free access for small schools. Try again tomorrow or import your list from a spreadsheet.”

Where: Import students screen (/students/import), after Take a photo or Choose an image.

Why: during the trial period, a school reads at most 10 photos over a rolling 24 hours (50 for a trusted school). Failed readings count too. This lower limit protects Martialnote from abuse and helps keep free access for small schools. The photo was not sent to the model.

What to do: try again when the oldest reading of the last 24 hours leaves the window (the next day at the latest), or import the rest of the list from an .xlsx or .csv file, which has no such limit. The limit becomes 50 automatically once the school becomes a trusted school. See the "The trial period" article.
